A Forest of Cakes

I've never seen a display quite like this. I've seen cakes displayed on tree stumps, but these are meant to look like cake trees. There's dirt, flowers, and additional twigs to fill out the "forest".

What do you think of this idea? Is it cute and clever or cooky and cluttered?
