This post is brought to you by Target, but all content and opinions are my own. Follow along with #TargetWedding.

I basically live in Target, so in my book the Target Wedding Registry is a wedding must-do. Whenever a friend registers there for their wedding, I know I can find something on their list that I'm jazzed to give. Of course, my dessert table designer background factors plays heavily into what I choose. I think Target's "Be Yourself, Together" concept makes perfect sense, since couples usually register for things that blend their styles to start their new life together.

The crew at Target Weddings asked me to pick a few items that I think are essential for wedding registries. I found a ton of things as I strolled around the store. I finally settled on this foxy wooden tray to add a fun DIY to give the couple.
I came up with a dessert-centric DIY that would be a fun addition to the gift. I loved these Lia Griffith labels, and I whipped up these more casual ones for everyday entertaining.

As the newlyweds have a housewarming, invite friends over, and host holiday parties, this bad boy is going to get plenty of use. And, anytime you have lots of guests, you'll have several food sensitivities to consider. Help the couple give their guests the hint about each dessert's contents (Hey, I think that rhymed!) with these witty little labels. Simply print them out, put them in a nice little bag, and give them along with this foxy Threshold tray.

1) Nate Berkus faceted platter (This is amazing in gold! Imagine how good sweets would look on this.)
2) Threshold Acacia tiered stand
3) Kitchenaid 5-speed hand mixer (Boysenberry and Flamingo are fab!)
4) Anchor Hocking glass jar (Perfect for cookies and candy.)
5) Threshold cocktail decanter

Hanging out with BFFF

I don't really remember how I crossed cyber paths with Melissa of Best Friends for Frosting. Did I email her? Did she email me? Who knows? Either way, I'm glad we did, because we clicked right away. M even interviewed me to share a look at my office with her readers. You can check out the full Q&A on BFFF, but I thought I'd share a few pics here, too.

You know I hooked up with Melissa Oholendt for these delish pics, which we managed to capture in a whirlwind one hour shoot. This space multi-tasks as a meeting space for consultations and tastings with my clients and as a crafting spot for Confetti Pop. You know I'm waaaay into sweets, so there's a little candy corner in the office. The selection is always changing, and it's impossible not to pop in for a nibble or two.

It is a miracle that Melissa was able to get so many great shots in our mini-session. Here's another of my favorites.

Claus Family Cupcakes

A couple of cupcakes styled to look like the jolly couple? Ugh! These are the cutest! Novice Housewife whipped up these fondant-topped cupcakes, and they're full of character. Hello, huge glasses! I love Mrs. Claus' little bun, and those lashes!

Procrastinators Rejoice: Holiday Cards from Pinhole Press

Every year, I scramble to mail out holiday cards after juggling work, home, and everything else that consumes my day. Thankfully, this year the crew at Pinhole Press has invited me to try out their holiday cards. Even better, if you order your cards, and enter sweet tooth at checkout, you'll receive a 33% discount on your order (use code: sweettooth at checkout). And, you can still get them by Christmas. Crazy, right?

I ordered those. Hello, candy striped back! I'm even saving myself a trip to the store, because it's -1000 degrees here, by ordering a personalized memory game as a gift for the kids. I added pics of the kids, their friends, our family, and of course some sweet desserts I made this year to the deck. The girls will love playing with their new memory game Christmas morning.

DIY Frosty the Snowman Favor

I love how easy it is to make a kid's day. Both of my girls would squeal if they saw these little snowman favors next to their plate on Christmas day. My older one would definitely say, "Oh my gosh! These are fab-u-loooooous!" My little one would just shovel all the candy in her mouth, you know, because she's a mini-me.

Cakes Gone Christmas

It's that time of year, and I've noticed lots of simple cakes topped with little wintery scenes. In fact, I'm guilty of making one myself. Check out these adorable DIY ways to dress up a Christmas cake.

I'm partial to the deer family topper. I did craft that one up, so I might be a tad biased. But, just a tad. Which one is your fave?

Hanging Out with BFFF

Ever meet someone and instantly know you're meant to be cyber BFFs? Well, Melissa of Best Friends for Frosting just became one of those people. She interviewed lil ole me, and we hit it off. We chatted about desserts, design, and decor. Basically, we covered all the things that matter in life.
