I'm loving this pastel dessert tablescape. It's everything you would expect to see at a spring bash, bunnies, flowers, and soft colors. What guest wouldn't want to dine next to this Ruche lookbook spread?

Dessert Table: Pucker Up!

This lemony dessert table was for a tea-themed bridal shower shoot from Design 2 Decor and Verve Photography looks absolutely refreshing on a hot summer day. Candies run the length of the yellow and white table, so guests can grab a sweet without leaving the conversation. Style Me Pretty featured this lovely affair.

When creating dessert tables, it's great to stick with one primary color like yellow (or red or blue) contrasted with white to create a striking look.

Dessert Table: Tea-licious! Pt II

I shared a few lovely pics of this all-white dessert/dining table with you earlier, and I'm back with even more images of this Hello Naomi, Bo Peep Productions, Natalie Hunfalvay collaboration via Somewhere Splendid. I think it's so clever to combine the dessert table and dining table in one. It really creates a community dining experience of sharing and passing plates. What a great idea for a bridal shower.

Doesn't this unstructured display make a dessert table seem attainable for any baker? A few mismatched cake stands and tea cups look like a cohesive display when unified by the all-white color palette.

Dessert Table: Tea-licious!

This all-white dessert table incorporates food, drink, and favors. This bridal shower tea party featured sweets by Hello Naomi and styling by Bo Peep Productions. When I saw these lovely Natalie Hunfalvay pics on 100 Layer Cake, I fell for the pristine simplicity of the event.

One simple cake, lots of macarons, and loose tea. Who knew those elements could make such a complete, pretty design?

Dessert Meets Design: Nonpareil Magazine Feature

I'm so excited to share the Alice in Wonderland-inspired dessert table I designed for Nonpareil Magazine's fourth issue with you. These lovely images were shot by my friend and fab photog, Tricia Little of Sweet Shibui.

Rather than design a flowery, tea party I chose to interpret Tim Burton's moodier version of the film, with its woodsy, cloudy, overgrown setting. Read more about my interpretation in the article. I also designed some great printables for the issue, so be sure to grab those.

This pretty little dessert table was featured on Grey Likes Weddings. The beautiful Tiffany blue and black palette is forever classic. This outdoor shower had two buffets! One was for cupcakes and macarons, while the other housed sweet drinks.

This simple, pretty dessert table is easy enough for even the baking-challenged party host. Grey Likes Weddings featured this casual design featuring iced tea, pink lemonade, and sugar-dusted lemon tartlettes.

I came across this gorgeous tea inspired buffet late last week. Tracy Lau created and photographed this table to celebrate her 40th birthday, which she fully embraced. The blues are beautiful against the various shades of brown.
