Thanksgiving Printable Pie Labels Pt II

Ok, so if leftover pie isn't your thing, you can still get in on the labeling fun. These free printables label the goods before the guests dig in, so they can avoid any unpleasant surprises. To this day, one of my friends is traumatized that she bit into a pumpkin pie thinking that it was sweet potato. The feud between her taste buds and pumpkin puree continues.

Dessert Table: Fall Feast

Last weekend, I hung out with my neighbors around a bonfire until midnight.  We all had blankets and sweatshirts, and it made me realize just how quickly Fall's coming. I'm not in love with the idea of colder days and nights, but the changing season does inspire me to design dessert tables that have moodier vibes, darker colors, and home-y feeling sweets. I love this MN Bride spread, which has pies, cake, and cookies.

Happy 4th of Ju-pie!

I know. July, Ju-pie. It's a stretch, but come on people, I'm in full vacation mode and the 100+ temps have probably fried my brain a little. Give me a pass, just this once. I promise I'll come up with a catchier title next Independence Day.

Sweet Idea: Raspberry Ice Cream Pie

Got graham crackers, Jell-o, and ice cream? If so, then you're just a refrigerator away from an easy, but really beautiful ice cream pie. Rockstar Diaries featured the no-brainer basic steps for this treat. I'll be whipping one of these lovelies up for Father's Day.

Since the ice cream is flavored by Jell-o, you can easily switch it up with any other fruit and top it with beautifully-arranged slices. Lime or strawberry, perhaps?

Monogrammed Mini Pie Placecards

I know, that title is a mouthful, but in this case it's a warm, fruit-filled mouthful so it's ok. These pretty little pies from You Are My Fave are unique enough to actually become your fave party favor. I probably wouldn't want to churn out a ton for a large party or wedding, but a small dinner party of six or eight would be just right.

Not only is this a cute idea, but you really only need a few cookie cutters and the ability to fold small squares.

Dessert Table: Farewell to Fall

Well, today's the last day of November, and we can bid Fall a fond farewell with this seasonal dessert display. So many of you loved the pie-in-a-jar concept, so I know you'll love the little pumpkin pies in jars in the last image. Mini apple pies and cupcakes round out this sweet assortment.

Although this inspirational shoot has a decidedly autumnal feel, think about incorporating these easy-to-make treats (or a wintery variation) in your upcoming festivities. Cupcakes and mini pies are simple enough to make yourself, while the effort alone will score you bonus points with your guests.
