It's Girl Scout cookie time, and the kids are out in full force. If you follow me on Instagram, then you know they already got me, hook, line, and sinker. My husband ordered some from a co-worker's kid, and forget to get some Thin Mints, so you know I squealed with glee a little when I came across this recipe by Izy of Top with Cinnamon.
A white chocolate version?!? Why didn't I think of that? Izy uses only three ingredients to whip up these childhood classics. It doesn't get much simpler than that. Check out the how-to here.

State Fair Faves: Mini Funnel Cakes
It's Day 3 of the State Fair Faves recipe reinterpretation series (say that three times fast, sheesh) that Maddy and I collaborated on, and this might be my favorite recipe of the bunch. I always get a big plate of powdery funnel cake at the fair, and making them miniature makes them a perfect anytime treat. In fact, after I made these, we had them for breakfast. My toddler was like, "I thought you said we were having cake. Where's the cake? Where's the frosting?"
State Fair Faves: Cotton Candy Cupcake Recipe
I'm back with another Great MN Get Together inspired sweet as Maddy and I get excited about the upcoming fest. Remember those pinky pink cupcakes peeking from behind yesterday's Honey Lemonade? Well, add a whisp of cotton candy and a fun wrapper and they become the star of today's post. Cotton candy is a fair classic, with its super-sugary, fluffy goodness so I know you'll love a cupcake version.
State Fair Faves: Honey Lemonade Recipe
If you're in Minnesota, then you're excitedly counting down the days until the State Fair. For the record, only three more days to go! Anyway, my friend (and A Splendid Party partner) Maddy and I teamed up again to create a few great MN Get Together recipes with a twist to get you in the mood. One of the best things at the fair is the fresh squeezed lemonade. So, Maddy decided to put a sweet twist on the classic, by adding a good helping of honey.
½ cup honey
3 cups hot water
1 cup fresh lemon juice
½ cup sugar
Instructions:
In a heatproof bowl, combine the hot water, honey, and sugar. Stir until the honey and sugar have dissolved. Set the sugar and honey mixture aside to cool slightly, then add the lemon juice and stir to distribute. Refrigerate and serve.
As we continue to gear up for the fair and the amazing food, I'll be back to share even more State Fair Faves with you.

Sweet Idea: Cupcake Jell-o Shots
It's not often that a cupcake are for adults only, but this Jell-o shot definitely fits the bill. Erica of Sweet Tooth created these deceptively cute cuppies for her friend's birthday party. With a base of cake flavored vodka (Who even knew that existed?), she was bound to be successful.
