Recipe: Italian Soda

Italian soda is a great, refreshing Summery thirst quencher that's easier to make than you might think. Sugar and Charm shared a recipe for her homemade version. With only three ingredients (cream, club soda, and syrup), it's impossible to get it wrong.
Want to tackle this sip-able treat? Check out the recipe card.
If you don't want to fool around with making the syrup, you can buy pre-made varieties. Yum!

Dessert Table: Girls and Games Shower

Kathleen of Twig & Thistle designed this dessert table and the gorgeous paper goods for her little sister's bridal shower. To bring a sophisticated touch to the girly palette, Kathleen served a pink lemonade cake and topped it with sugar poppies. She also served Sofia champagne, gin and tonics with grenadine, and blackberry IZZEs.
Kathleen really thought of everything. She designed the invites, bingo cards, game scratch-off cards, and pop quiz cards. She elevated simple powdered donuts by placing a short stack in fluted cupcake liners.
Be sure to swing by Twig & Thistle to see more desserts and paper goods from the shower. The bingo cards are a great custom touch.

Ice Cream Float Printables

Nothing says Summer like ice cream floats, and these bright printable labels from Eat Drink Chic make any ice cream social a custom event. I think the citrus-y hues make them perfect for any seasonal event, even a block party as we kids start to head back to school later this month.
Label designer, Amy Moss, has thought of everything. She even included two different label styles for the bottle caps! Be sure to check out Eat Drink Chic for even more pictures and print out the labels here.

Dessert Table: Glitz & Glamour

This sparkly delight was featured on Style Me Pretty. I love all of the event's details, but the glittery desserts really take the cake.

Dazzling pinks and vibrant aqua play beautifully together. You wouldn't think such an unusual color combination would be so over-the-top lavish and glamorous.
