A few weeks ago, Laura contacted me on Twitter with a question about the cupcakes she was making for an event. Laura was kind enough to give me an update about the event and share a picture of her creation.
Laura tweeted, "cupcake stand i did last saturday, @shaunayounge thanks 4 the tip u gave me the other day ;)"
I was so glad to see Laura's finished design, that I thought it would be fun to see what you guys are up to in your own kitchens. Next time you whip up a cake or some really pretty brownies, snap a pic and share. Be sure to include any tips or techniques that made your creation turn out so well.

So pretty! What was the tip you gave her?
Hi Paula,
Laura wanted to know how far in advance she could frost cupcakes, because she needed to make so many. Here's my response:
@lau_tena Hi! It will harden if exposed to air. It's best to ice them and serve within 24 hrs. Store in an airtight container. Good luck!
Thanks, Shauna! I was just curious. :) Have to say, love your blog and your beautiful work. I find it so inspiring and am impressed with your marketing savvy as well.

If I were to do it again, I would prep things sooner and get to the event place early.
Hi Sunghee,
Thank you for sending your NY-inspired design. I'll share with the readers tomorrow.
