10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 9 - Countdown to Candy Favors

I've got a late night snack for you, the ninth project in the 10 Days of Craftsmas series! We shared the Gift-Worthy Cocoa Kit with you earlier, and I'm back with the Countdown to Candy Gift Tins that Maddy of Somewhere Splendid and I designed. These easy treats help build the anticipation of the holidays as you count down the days. Even better, you can use them (and the printables) for a lot of different occasions.

The printable labels are numbered 1-18, so you can use them as escort favors for a winter wedding, an eight-day Hanukkah countdown, or a twelve-day Christmas countdown. Fill each tin with a different candy, and enjoy a sweet surprise every night!

Supplies:

this PDF printable
double-sided tape
these cans
assorted candies in your desired color palette
scrapbook paper
hole punch

Instructions:

Print out the provided PDF on plain paper or full sheet label paper. Cut each label to size. If you are using double stick tape, line the outside of each square with the tape and also make an "X" through the center to ensure it sticks.

Align the label flush with the bottom lip of the can. Starting on the left side of the label, simultaneously attach and press the label down so it sits flat on the surface of the can. Repeat for all the numbers you choose to produce.

Fill each can with a different variety of candy. Seal the can with the matching lid, then enjoy each night as you count down!

If you're  joining the Craftsmas fun midstream, be sure to check out all of the projects in this holiday DIY series here.
