Eat Your Veggies!

I've seen veggies reinterpreted as dessert before, but nothing has ever made asparagus look so delicious. When I stumbled upon Rosie's asparagus cake on Sweetapolita, my mouth hit the floor. Just look at the level of detail in each and every stalk. This is by far one of the most realistic cakes I've ever seen.

It would have been hard to cut into this masterpiece, but Rosie's sister and daughter were happy to take a bite or two (or twenty).

Have you ever seen anything so lifelike and amazing? That slice of cake with the intact asparagus spear tops is just too much to handle. Mmmm!
