Are those maple candy lollipops? WANT! I love the wee stars on the cupcakes as well :) This is a happy looking table!
You create such tastefully designed desserts! A perfect match for this sophisticated setting.
Thank you, Melissa! I was very pleased at how chalk-like I was able to get the monograms so I'm glad you liked them as well.
A Kathryn, I made the lollipops from a candy recipe that didn't include maple. I'd love to see your maple candy recipe if you have one.
Hi Lissa, thank you so much for saying that. These kinds of comments keep me going when things start to chaotic in the office.
Either way, they are brilliant! I just developed a taste for maple candy when I attended a wedding out east last year. I had never actually been as far as the coast and went to markets and shops in St. John's that were full of the stuff. It is ridiculous how yummy it is and we don't get maple out in BC because we don't have the right trees :) It is one of those Canadian things that remind me of how fabulous we can be... LOL
Wow. My eye went from one photo to the next being totally impressed. Everything looks perfect! You photo stood out when I was perusing through Foodgawker!
Thank you, Sarah! I'm glad my pics caught your eye. If you haven't checked out Pt I of this post, be sure to peruse it, too. http://shaunayounge.blogspot.com/2011/05/dessert-meets-design-graphic-glitz-pt-i.html
