I must be in an alliteration kind of mood, based on today's post title, but these little cakes are worth the wordplay. You know I love purple and ombre and miniature things. Well, Glory of Glorious Treats created cakes that incorporate all three. Perfect for a young birthday girl.
Swing by Glorious Treats for the recipe.

Miniature Cake Furniture
You know I like miniature sweets like the ones I used for my Alice in Wonderland dessert table. I don't know why I've never heard of cake furniture before, but now that I have, I can't imagine doll furniture made of any other substance. Look at these little chairs, tables, and trucks made of cake batter. They're perfectly sized for dolls.
Kiddo (and I) would love to have this little set, so if you're wondering what to get us for Christmas this year...

Featured: Petit Plat Miniature Desserts
While designing this dessert table for Nonpareil Magazine, I decided that a miniature dessert table would be a fun way to represent Alice (of Wonderland fame) growing into a giant. I was fortunate enough to find dessert miniaturist Stephanie Kilgast of PetitPlat. Using my sketches and photos, Stephanie replicated every detail of the dessert table.
