Friday, I shared this whoopie pie dessert table with you. Sweet Tooth reader Rowaida saw the post and sent me a few pictures from her Halloween dessert table, which also features pumpkin whoopie pies.
Rowaida added candy, cake ball pops, and cupcakes to her whoopie pie display. She selected ceramic and glass vessels to vary the heights of each treat.
Be sure to visit Rowaida's Flickr gallery to see step-by-step tutorials as she bakes all of these treats creates the dessert table.
Thank you for sharing your design, Rowaida. I hope that you'll upload them to the Shauna Younge Dessert Tables Facebook fan page for us all to see.

Reader Design: Woodsy Wedding Dessert Table
Amanda of Buttercup Cake Design contacted me a few weeks ago with a really nice email. Amanda is a Canadian baker who designs dessert tables to showcase at farmer's markets. Yesterday, she contacted me again to share images of one of her recent works and to let me know that she plains to incorporate my Halloween printables into her display this week!
Amanda designed this woodsy Autumnal dessert table for her sister's wedding.
Congrats Amanda, and thanks for submitting your dessert table!
So tell me, what's your favorite element of Amanda's design?
Amanda designed this woodsy Autumnal dessert table for her sister's wedding.
I especially love the wild, but refined look of this cake. Since Amanda knew it would be blazing hot during the August nuptials, she created this styrofoam cake and added a real top tier for the couple to cut. Amanda cleverly incorporated authentic natural elements into the design to add a rustic feel. Her wood stumps serve as risers and platters. You can also use real bark like I did here and here.
Amanda chronicles her journey in the dessert table design world on her blog Sweet Pursuits. She has a fabulous outlook on celebrating the ups of the business so that the downs are a little less upsetting. One of her most recent celebrations? This dessert table was published by Vancouver's Real Wedding Magazine.Congrats Amanda, and thanks for submitting your dessert table!
So tell me, what's your favorite element of Amanda's design?

Sunghee saw my invitation for readers to send their dessert projects, and responded with pics of a New York inspired dessert buffet. An Empire State Building centerpiece, taxi cab labels, and shopping bags for cookies add to the theme.

A few weeks ago, Laura contacted me on Twitter with a question about the cupcakes she was making for an event. Laura was kind enough to give me an update about the event and share a picture of her creation.
Laura tweeted, "cupcake stand i did last saturday, @shaunayounge thanks 4 the tip u gave me the other day ;)"
I was so glad to see Laura's finished design, that I thought it would be fun to see what you guys are up to in your own kitchens. Next time you whip up a cake or some really pretty brownies, snap a pic and share. Be sure to include any tips or techniques that made your creation turn out so well.
