Seriously, this little felt favor bag by Mer Mag is irresistably cute.

Since felt doesn't unravel, this makes ab easy no-sew project. Save even more time and hot glue the two sections of your bag together, and draw the bunny;s face with a fine-tipped marker.

Easter Treat-ster: Bunny & Chick Favors

I tend to procrastinate on crafty things for kiddo (and this Easter is no different), because I always figure, "Oh, I'll just stay up late the night before and get X, Y, and Z done." Since I know this about myself, I tend to seek out simple, quick projects that pack a cuteness punch. This clever idea from Simply Simple Stamping fits the bill quite nicely.

Macarons Hop into Spring

Guest Desserts: Easter Feast

Today's Guest Desserts feature was submitted by Rowaida, who you may remember also submitted this Halloween and this Christmas dessert table a few months ago. Well, she's back at it and designing dessert tables for her friends and their children to celebrate Easter. I'll let her tell us a little about her table.


from Rowaida: Yesterday had some friends with their kids over for lunch and made a simple Easter dessert table. Want to share it with you. Hope you like the photos. I only took a few. I baked and decorated the cupcakes, egg shape cookies, and small cakes, made it simple with spring colors. The tablecloth is Cath Kidston. [We] had jelly beans and egg chocolate favors for the kids in colorful small buckets.

Happy Birthday Bunny Cake

Easter's right around the corner, which of course means it's time for lots of Easter Bunny sweets. Lyndsay of Coco Cake made this cute-y for her daughter's fourth birthday. By draping a simple cake in white fondant and decorating with cutout fondant shapes, you can create the same look for Easter or any spring birthday party.

Lyndsay thinks this cake would be infinitely cuter if the bunny had nerdy glasses or even a moustache, and I agree whole heartedly.

Dessert Table: Easy Easter

This dessert table via The Sweetest Occasion is as much about the sweets as it is about the setting. Simple cupcakes and beautifully-labeled mini favor bags are just the right touch for an easy Easter brunch. Even if you don't have a bricked courtyard, you can decorate a small table in your backyard with a bouquet of tulips and mix matched floral china.

If you're not celebrating Easter, you can still use this simple idea to get outside and enjoy a stress-free gathering with family in your yard.
