For my family, July means birthday bonanzas. My mom, aunts, husband, mother-in-law, a couple of cousins, and I all have birthdays this month. Usually, we'd have one joint celebration with a variety of treats for all of the birthday guests and friends. In essence, Gram made a July dessert table every year.

Birthday Girl, it made me nostalgic for all of those past celebrations and it also made me imagine what it would have been like to have an entire dessert table all for myself filled with cupcakes, cookies, and candies. A girl can still dream...
Remember paper chains made from interconnected rings of construction paper? I love the idea of using them as a backdrop. What a simple DIY project. Even the birthday girl could join in the decor fun.
