Dessert Table: Gold, Green, and Vintage Glam

After a day on set for Confetti Pop, I was happy to scroll through my Pinterest feed and find this framed dessert display. Ruffled blog featured this Wizard of Oz inspired shoot, and photog Sandy Tam capture The Sweetere's treats wonderfully. If you've seen my LOVE dessert table, then you know I like a good frame backdrop. Here, the frames also make a debut on the gold and green glitter cake.

Cupcakes and cake pops accompany the vintage-inspired cake. Yum! Simple glitter hearts make great cupcake toppers.

Dessert Table: Apple Tree Birthday

It seems like the dessert table craze has really exploded in Australia. Every time I come across a new table, the designer is from Down Under. This little girl's pink and green apple-themed buffet is no different. The ladies of Ruby Ju created this sweet display, which features cookies, cupcakes, and a pretty ruffle cake. I love the striped straws in the old fashioned milk bottles.

The striped candy bar wrappers are another sweet touch. What's your favorite element of this design?

Last week, I shared this DIY gold bars treat with you. Today, I'm back with even more St. Patrick's Day goodies. If this is just a little too much green for you, perhaps your pot of gold is at the end of this post full of rainbow desserts.

Dessert Table: New Vintage

Dessert Table: Baa Baa Baby

This little lamb themed baby shower by Delphine Ephemera is too adorable to pass by without a closer look. A citron, lemon, and lime color palette make the gender neutral event lively and youthful, which is perfect for a baby celebration. Custom lamb labels turn candy bars into conversation pieces. Gummies, meringues, and cupcakes round out the offerings.

Dessert Table: Red, White, and Mmmm

I immediately fell in love with this peppermint-themed event. Everything has been thought of, everything. The linens, the peppermint truffles, and the striped translucent favor bags can only be topped by the waiter serving peppermint martinis.

This is so lovely, and even better, it's attainable. Drape a white cloth over a table or console and use a red runner (or any red fabric) down the center of the table. You don't have to try to accomplish the large bow, simply having that shock of color will create a jaw-dropping effect. I used this technique for an event. Check out the pics here.

Although hiring a waiter might not be feasible, you can arrange the glasses on sliver trays. Put one tray on each end of the dessert buffet. Pour the drinks right before guests arrive and leave a recipe card for guest to refill for themselves as the night continues.

Place your tree or an attention-grabbing menorah in one corner to draw people into the room, and enjoy your handiwork.
