10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 10 - Crafty Cookie Box Pt II

In case you're just joining us, let me get you up to speed. Last night, I posted the Countdown to Candy Favors as the ninth project in the 10 Days of Craftsman series. This morning, we kicked off the tenth, and final, day with Part I of the Cookie Box project to show you how to prep your wooden box. I'm back with the recipes for each yummy cookie that I baked to fill the kraft boxes inside the wooden box.

10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 10 - Crafty Cookie Box Pt I

Hold on to your hats, because today is overflowing with DIY projects, recipes, and lovely links. Last night, I shared day nine's Countdown to Candy Gift Tin. If you missed that PM post, be sure grab the free printables and make the craft for yourself. Alright, now let's get to even more good stuff.

Today is the last day of the 10 Days of Craftsmas series that Maddy of Somewhere Splendid and I created. This Crafty Cookie Box is easily one of my favorite projects. We have so many beautiful pictures and recipes from this project that I had to split it into two posts. We'll start with how to make the box for your cookies.

10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 9 - Countdown to Candy Favors

I've got a late night snack for you, the ninth project in the 10 Days of Craftsmas series! We shared the Gift-Worthy Cocoa Kit with you earlier, and I'm back with the Countdown to Candy Gift Tins that Maddy of Somewhere Splendid and I designed. These easy treats help build the anticipation of the holidays as you count down the days. Even better, you can use them (and the printables) for a lot of different occasions.

10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 8 - Gift-Worthy Cocoa Kit

Today, I've got two delicious homemade posts for you. The second post will feature one of your fellow Sweet Tooth reader's holiday sweets, so be sure to come back and give our guest baker some cyber love.

Ok, now onto today's first post. For the eighth sweet project in the 10 Days of Craftsmas, Maddy of Somewhere Splendid and I created the Gift-Worthy Cocoa Kit. Nothing says "winter warmth" quite like a mug of cocoa with homemade marshmallows and peppermint sticks. Festive packaging and a custom cocoa mix makes this an inexpensive, giftable idea.

10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 7 - Birds of a Feather Favors

For the seventh day of the 10 Day of Craftsmas, Maddy of Somewhere Splendid and I created these  Birds of a Feather Favors. They're incredibly easy to make, even the kids can help. If you've got a few minutes and a small stash of hard candy, you can make them for yourself.

10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 6 - Jingle Bell Gift Card Holder

I've got two posts in store for you today. The second is a great cupcake bar idea, but let's start the day with the sixth day of the 10 Days of Craftsmas. Perhaps you've already checked out the Sweet Holiday Gift Guide and still can't find the perfect present for a special someone.

Maddy of Somewhere Splendid and I have the perfect solution. The Jingle Bell Gift Card Holder will transform a gift card from an impersonal afterthought to a pretty, reusable gift. Want to make one? Check out the tutorial and see more pretty pics.

10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 5 - Rock Candy Cones

In today's first post, I showed you the dessert table I recently designed for my little donut's birthday. Now, I'm back with the fifth delicious DIY project of the 10 Days of Craftsmas series.

I created these Rock Candy Cones with help from my creative partner Maddy Hague of Somewhere Splendid. These icy, candy-coated decor elements would be perfect on a tabletop or a mantel. By working with a gradient of blue sugar crystals, I added another dimension to the luminous, rocky surface. Want to make them for yourself? Get the instructions for these cones!

10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 4 - Merry Mistletoe

I've got two posts today, and the fourth day of the 10 Days of Craftsmas is the first. Maddy of Somewhere Splendid and I crafted this Merry Mistletoe as another decor element that works perfectly with a dessert table. Simply hang the mistletoe in front of the dessert table, and watch all of the hugs and kisses that ensue as family and friends approach to check out all of the sweets. Want to make this mistletoe for yourself? Keep reading.

10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 3 - Felt Ribbon Wreath

If you've seen this picture frame collage or this vase of pheasant feathers I created for some of my dessert tables, then you know that I like to incorporate decor elements into my designs. For the third day of the 10 Days of Craftsmas, I designed this Felt Ribbon Wreath with Maddy Hague of Somewhere Splendid. While the sweets should take center stage, decor items like today's wreath add a finishing touch that pulls the whole look together. Want to see the step-by-step tutorial? Read on!

10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 2 - Gingerbread Place Cards

It's the second day of the 10 Days of Craftsmas, which Maddy of Somewhere Splendid and I dreamed up to provide you with lots of holiday baking and crafting ideas. Today's project was actually a component of yesterday's gorgeous Rustic Rosette Runner table decor idea. These gingerbread reindeer cookies do double duty. Of course they're delicious and easy to make, but they also serve as seating cards for an intimate holiday party.

10 Days of Craftsmas!: Day 1 - Rustic Rosette Runner

Today, we kick off the 10 Days of Craftsmas with the first project that Maddy of Somewhere Splendid and I designed. The Rustic Rosette Runner is an easy project that lends itself to rough edges and a deconstructed, unfussy look. The gorgeous rosettes would make a dynamic addition to a golden, glittering dessert table display.

This project is so simple, that Maddy was able to churn out a ton of these gorgeous, button-centered rosettes while leisurely watching Battlestar Gallatica!

The 10 Days of Craftsmas!

Last week, I had a few double posts instead of my typical one post per day. In case you missed any, be sure to also check out The Gift Guide I compiled featuring lots of delicious goodies for your friends and family in the US and abroad. You can also read my Star Tribune interview on holiday dessert table and decor ideas. Now, on to today's holiday goodness!
Today is the first day of The 10 Days of Craftsmas! Along with my friend Maddy Hague of Somewhere Splendid, I designed ten holiday crafts and favors for you to recreate for your festivities. We have some great printables, easy recipes, and festive decor ideas along with tutorials and how-tos to help you bring it all together. Whether you want to create a homemade holiday, find new craft ideas, or just look at pretty pictures, this series is for you. I'll be back with the first craft later today, so check back for that.

Follow along all ten days and have yourself a Merry Craftsmas!
